The next MX5 Fun Run shall be held on Sunday 7th September.
This will be the last Evening run for this year and shall consist of a Treasure Hunt. Prize for the winner shall be a 4 Litre Motul Fully Synthetic Engine Oil worth more than 40 Euros.
Meet at 6.00PM Sharp in the area opposite the Ice Cream van in Bahar Ic-Caghaq.
Price for this event shall be 5 Euros for Members and 10 Euros for Non Members.
Income from this event shall go towards the MX5 Club Finances.
Participants must bring a camera or a mobile phone with a camera with them.
So fill your car with fuel and see if you can be the first to find all the locations in this Treasure Hunt.
15TH EVENT
The 15th MX5 Malta Event - shall be held on Sunday 3rd August.
We'll be meeting opposite the Ice Cream Kiosk in Bahar ic-Caghaq at 7.30PM.
From there we shall go for a Fun Run towards the North of Malta.
Remember to bring your cameras with you!!!!!!
13TH EVENT
The 13th MX5 Malta Event - shall be held on the 8th June.
We'll be meeting at 9.30AM in front of Fra Ben in Qawra.
We will be leaving at 10.00AM SHARP.
The route shall be as follows;
Coast Road, Sliema Front, Gzira, Ta' Xbiex, Msida, Pieta', go round Valletta, Marsa, Paola, Vittoriosa, Kalkara and end in Xghajra.
Please remember to bring your camera with you and take loads of photos AND do send in the photos for the Monthly Motul Photo Competition.
12TH EVENT
The 12th MX5Malta Event - shall be held on Sunday 4th May.
We'll be meeting at Ta' Qali, in front of the National Park at 9.30AM.
We will leave from Ta' Qali at 10.00AM sharp.
From there we will take the route towards Mgarr, Golden Bay, Mellieha, Xemxija, and have a brief stop in Qawra. Then we'll take on the Coast Road, the bypass over Manuel Dimech Bridge, Marsa, Luqa, Kirkop, Zurrieq and head towards Blue Grotto. On this occasion, we shall nominate the winner of the April Photo Competition for the best photos taken at that event. So, again, fill your fuel tank, charge your batteries, bring your camera, and take some lovely photos. Then send them to mx5malta@gmail.com.
The best voted photo wins a Motul Gift.
PS: Those who were with us in Sicily, please bring a CD of the photos you took there, so that we will make a compilation of photos for all who were present in our first overseas event.
11TH EVENT - SICILY WEEKEND RUN
The 11th MX5Malta Event - Sicily Weekend Run on the 18th April till the 20th April.
We'll be meeting on board the Virtu Ferries Boat, Valletta Sea Passenger Terminal, Pinto Wharf,
Valletta at 5:00 AM. The ferry will be departing at exactly 6:45 AM, so please make sure that you will be on board of the ferry by that time, since we have to check in our cars.
The ferries we will be taking on the 18/04/08 is the VR100 at 6:45AM and on the 20/04/08 as the return ferry the VR101 at 21:30PM.

10TH EVENT
The 10th MX5Malta Event shall be held on Sunday 6th April.
We will be meeting at the Ta Xbiex Car Park near the Black Pearl at 10.00AM. From where we'll start our usual Fun Run, heading towards Sliema, Coast Road, Bugibba, Burmarrad, Mosta, Mgarr and finish in Gnejna.
On this occasion, our 10th Fun Run, we shall start a competition for the best photos taken at our events. So fill your fuel tank, charge your batteries, bring your camera, and take some lovely pics. Then send them to mx5malta@gmail.com. The best voted photo wins a Motul Gift.
9TH EVENT
The 9th MX5Malta Event shall be held on Sunday 2nd March. The meeting point shall be infront of the Hal Far Drag Racing Gate. Time: 9.30AM. We will start with a demo of Waxoyl car protection and will begin a run towards the North of Malta. There, we will stop for a coffee and then continue along so that we may have the second stop for something to eat.
The route plan is as follows: Hal Far, Marsa, Sta Venera, Tal-Qroqq, Swieqi, Coast Road, St Paul's Bay, Xemxija By Pass, Golden Bay, Manikata, Mellieha, Armier. Back via Mellieha Ta' Pennellu, Golden Bay and Mgarr.
The 8th MX5Malta Event shall be held in Gozo from Saturday 2nd February (we're meeting at 9.30AM sharp at Luxol Grounds St. Andrews, please make sure that you are not late) from where we will go on a Fun Run towards Cirkewwa, board the Ferry to Gozo and take the road towards Ta' Cenc Hotel where a Car Park is available.

This run was adorned with a sunny day which many of us were longing for since it had been raining in the last few days!!!!
We met at Ta’ Xbiex at 10.00AM and at around half an hour later left to begin our journey to Armier. With little traffic and lots of tops down we enjoyed the beauty of Tower Road, the Coast Road, the New Mgarr Road, Golden Bay and the lovely B roads of Manikata. The last part was painstakingly slow since the road to Armier is in need of a bit of new asphalt. After a nice coffee break in the warm January sun, we headed towards Ta’ Qali and soon after went to Qawra where we had lunch (at 3.00PM).
I can say that I’ve enjoyed my day thoroughly and from the feedback I go this morning, I was not the only one.
